House rules — the website edition
Terms of Service

The spirit of the thing
This website exists to help you plan a wonderful stay near Durango, Colorado. Use it in that spirit and we'll get along fine. By using the site or creating an account, you're agreeing to these terms.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, tell us if something looks wrong, and be who you say you are. We may suspend accounts that abuse the site or other guests — we've never had to, and we'd like to keep that record.
Photos and content you share
Your photos remain yours. By submitting them, you give us permission to display them on this site (with your caption, in the community gallery) once we've approved them. You can delete your submissions any time from your portal, and they'll come down from the gallery too. Please only upload photos you took yourself, and nothing you wouldn't show your grandmother — we review everything before it appears, and we're the final word on what gets published.
About the local information
We work to keep our guides to restaurants, outfitters, events, and trails accurate, and some of it is gathered with the help of AI and reviewed by us. Mountain-town hours change with the seasons, businesses come and go, and rivers don't consult us about their water levels — so please confirm details with the business before making the drive. The wonderful places we list are independent businesses, not endorsements with guarantees.
Bookings
Reservations and payments are arranged directly with us (or through the booking platforms we list), and any stay is governed by the rental agreement you receive when booking — this website itself doesn't create a reservation. Availability shown online is our best information, not a binding promise until we confirm your dates.
The necessary legal paragraph
The site is provided “as is.” While we care for it like we care for the property, we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the site itself, to the maximum extent Colorado law allows. Nothing here limits rights the law says can't be limited. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Changes & questions
If we update these terms, we'll change the date above. Questions? Write to hello@durangogetaway.com — you'll get an answer from a person, not a policy.
